OVERVIEW
Receive real time alerts when contact is made or broken
Monnit’s Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Dry Contact Sensor – the solution to detecting contact between two wired endpoints with ease. This sensor can be integrated easily into existing contact plates or switches, and it transmits data to iMonnit as soon as it detects contact. With the ability to detect both closed and open loops, it alerts whenever contact is made or broken. Users can even receive SMS or email notifications instantly. Stay on top of things with this powerful and configurable sensor.
The Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Sensor products measure various conditions (environmental, power, access). All devices come with flexible settings – including notifications, alerts, reports, and maps – can be customized in the iMonnit online sensor management interface.
Monnit’s Power over Ethernet sensors integrate with a building’s PoE network; it can also be used with a standard Ethernet infrastructure and powered via an optional AC adapter.
