The Monnit Dry Contact Sensor detects if contact is made or broken between two wired points. This sensor remotely monitors production line operation, tracks when a forklift’s seat is occupied, or alerts you if a gate was left open.

Monnit’s Dry Contact sensor can be mounted quickly and wired to two endpoints (such as existing switches or contact plates). Be alerted in real time via email, text, or call if a contact is broken (indicating that the points are no longer touching) or if the two points make contact when they shouldn’t be. These sensors can be also retrofitted to bring new life (and intelligence) to equipment. All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;

• Increased resistance to corrosion
