Monnit’s Industrial Wireless 5-Input Dry Contact Sensors is engineered for harsh environments, offering robust detection capabilities for contact between various wired contact points including mechanical switches, relays, transistor switches, or contact plates. Featuring a sturdy cable length of 0.9 m (3′) with bare-wire terminations, these sensors seamlessly integrate with switches in industrial settings.

Functioning on the principle of utilising five input wires and one ground wire, these sensors excel at identifying contact between any of the five inputs and the ground wire. They can be effortlessly integrated into existing switches or contact plates within industrial environments. Once contact is detected between any input and ground, these sensors promptly transmit wireless communication to the gateway for secure data transfer to iMonnit or other approved data services.

Additionally, these sensors can be configured to detect closed and open loops for each of the five inputs, providing immediate alerts for contact closures, openings, and state changes within industrial operations.

Warning: Use caution when interfacing the ALTA 5-Input Dry Contact Sensors. Any external AC or DC voltages will damage the electronics of the wireless sensor.

This sensor comes with an industrial battery included with a life of up to 7 years.

All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
