The base unit is the foundation of your system. Two options are available — the choice comes down to how many pollutants you need to measure and whether your requirements are likely to change over time.

The Kunak AIR Pro supports up to five gases plus particulate matter simultaneously. Built for complex, multi-pollutant applications where monitoring scope may evolve over time. MCERTS-certified for particulate measurement.

The Kunak AIR Lite measures two gases plus particulate matter. Designed for consistent, cost-effective deployment across multiple sites, with Class 1-aligned data quality traceable to European and US EPA reference standards.

Both stations use Kunak’s patented smart cartridge system, allowing sensors to be configured and swapped on-site as your monitoring requirements change. Both are rated IP65, support solar power and 4G connectivity, and are built for remote and unattended deployment in Australian field conditions.

Kunak Smart Cartridges are how you configure your system for the specific pollutants your site, application, or licence conditions require. Each cartridge is a self-contained measurement unit containing the sensor, its own PCB, and embedded calibration data. Insert a cartridge and the system reads it, configures itself, and starts measuring almost immediately.

Cartridges are individually factory-calibrated against traceable reference standards and supplied with a calibration certificate. Accuracy is built in and persists through swaps — no recalibration on-site required unless you choose to refine against a reference station or certified gas standard.

When monitoring requirements change, swap cartridges in the field in under two minutes. No factory visits, no downtime, no replacement hardware.

Kunak AIR Cloud is the web-based platform that connects to your monitoring stations and gives you full visibility and control over your network from a single browser window. Real-time data, automated validation, remote diagnostics, compliance reporting, and station management — without sending anyone to site.

The platform is modular and scales from a single station to a multi-site network. Licensing is annual, per device, with packages based on the capability level you need — from basic visualisation and configuration through to full analytics, validation, and reporting.

Key capabilities include real-time dashboards and threshold alerts, automatic data pre-validation and flagging, remote calibration and firmware management, advanced analytics including wind plots and pollution roses for source identification, and customised compliance report generation.

Data can be shared via API, exported in multiple formats, or published to a public web portal — useful where community or regulatory reporting is required.

Accessories extend where your system can operate and improve the quality of your data. For compliance reporting in particular, meteorological context is often essential — wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and pressure all help identify pollutant sources, understand dispersion patterns, and support defensible reporting.
