The Slag Detection System software – IMAGEPro SDS is a Windows-based image processing application providing display and analysis of thermal images from the AMETEK Land FTI-E and MIR-640 thermal imaging cameras. The system provides automatic detection of the presence of slag in a liquid steel stream and generates alarms.
