The fibre optic sensing head withstands ambient temperatures of up to 200°C and contains no electronics, so it may be used in areas of strong electromagnetic interference. Continuous laser sighting illuminates the position and size of the measurement spot while
readings are being taken, without affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
