OVERVIEW
Remotely monitor device voltage
Monnit’s 0–200 VDC or 0–500 VAC sensors measure the voltage between two electrical points, such as batteries or other sensors and measure the reported voltage. Free iMonnit basic online wireless sensor monitoring and notification system to configure sensors, view data and set alerts. If a monitored value rises or falls beyond user-set thresholds, an alert is sent via text, email, or call. Know when essential appliances are operative (helpful for remote locations or decentralized operations).
By connecting the leads on the Monnit Wireless Voltage Meter to the positive and negative terminals of another device, battery, or sensor, it can measure the DC voltage and send data to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System. The data is stored in the online system and can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph. Notifications can be set up through the online system to alert the user when certain thresholds have been met or exceeded.
Instant alerts, instant action
This sensor comes with an industrial battery included with the life of up to 7 years.
WARNING: Use caution when interfacing to the Monnit Wireless Voltage Meter. Negative voltages, AC Voltages, or DC Voltage exceeding maximum (as outlined in product specifications) WILL DAMAGE the electronics of the Monnit Wireless Sensor. Monnit is not responsible for troubleshooting, replacing or reimbursing damages incurred by disregarding this warning.
All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
- Falling dirt
- Wind-blown dust
- Rain, sleet, snow, splashing water, and hose-directed water
- Ice formation on the enclosure
- Increased resistance to corrosion
Features
- Impressive wireless range of up to 1,200 feet through walls
- Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS)
- Improved interference immunity
- Improved power management for longer battery life
- Encrypt-RF® Security (Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange + AES-128 CBC for sensor data messages)
- Over-the-air updates
- Free iMonnit basic online wireless sensor monitoring and notification system to configure sensors, view data and set alerts via SMS text and email
- Stores 2000 to 4000 readings if gateway connection is lost (non-volatile flash, persists through the power cycle)
