The Monnit Industrial Open-Closed Wireless Sensor is ideal for those who want real time information on the status of any window, door or cabinet in demanding environments.

This sensor uses an external switch and trigger magnet to detect status—when the magnets meet, a door or window is closed. When the sensor detects that the magnet is removed or returned it sends the information to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification Systems. The data is then stored in the online system and can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph.

The sensor can be configured via iMonnit only to send notifications during specific dayparts, such as after-hours, or when a magnetic source is present or not, i.e. door is open or closed. This data sheds light on access patterns—a boon for the foodservice, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.

The Industrial open-closed sensor comes with standard with a 3.6V battery which has a lifespan of up to 7 years.

All industrial sensors are enclosed in a reliable, weatherproof NEMA-rated enclosure that are constructed for both indoor and outdoor use. These rugged enclosures protect the sensor circuitry against;
