OVERVIEW
As Carbon Dioxide (CO2) concentrations rise within facilities, occupants may suffer from fatigue; excessive exposure triggers nausea and/or vomiting. Monnit’s ALTA® CO2 sensor monitors this gas; if levels exceed preset limits, designated personnel are alerted via text, email, or call.
This kit gives you a simple solution to monitor your assets 24/7 with no complicated wiring or setup.
The C02 Monitoring Kit Contains:
- 1 x ALTA Ethernet or 4G Gateway*
- Wireless CO2 Sensors
- 12 Months Subscription to iMonnit web based online software
- Optional x Notification Credits for SMS Alarm Notifications (2 credits per SMS)
- Mounting Hardware
- 2 x AA Batteries
- Free delivery to anywhere in Australia
*Optional 4G Gateway Upgrade includes 1 x ALTA 4G Gateway and SIM Plan for 12 Months
Adding more sensors is extremely simple and can be done at any time. These include not only C02, but a large selection for almost everything you wish to monitor such as Humidity, Water Detection, Motion, AC Current, etc. See our sensors HERE
The system is supplied fully configured and ready to go, just place the sensors in your area to be monitored and plug in the Gateway. (Ethernet DHCP plug and play, or configured for advanced networks by your IT)
Sensor features:
- Measures 0–10000 ppm
- AA-battery powered (10+ year battery life)
- Instantaneous CO2 readings & 8-hour, time-weighted average readings
- Options: on/off switch or line-power with battery backup and on/off switch
The ALTA Wireless Carbon Dioxide Sensor measures the amount of CO2 in the ambient air surrounding the element. It is programmed to take readings at a set interval to accurately calculate CO2 levels, then send the time-stamped data to the iMonnit Online Sensor Monitoring and Notification System at user-specified time intervals (sensor heartbeat). The CO2 data can be reviewed and exported as a data sheet or graph and notifications can be set up through the online system to alert the user when defined thresholds have been met or exceeded.
Features of Monnit ALTA Sensors

Important Notes:
- iMonnit Portal Plan included in this system is for 12 months from day of purchase and up to a maximum of 6 sensors. At the end of the plan you can switch to iMonnit basic which is a free plan or continue with premium for a small 12 monthly fee.
- SMS credits are sold in a pack of 100 credits, each SMS in Australia and NZ is at a cost of 2 credits, (50 SMS’s per pack). The system can be set to notify you when credits reach a desired low level and purchasing another pack can be done through OneTemp.
- The 4G Gateway is supplied with a SIM card fitted and activated on the Telstra Mobile network (Aust) and Spark (NZ) for 12 months. A reminder will be sent to you on the iMonnit account administrators email address at 11 months for renewing this plan for a further 12 months.
