The VS360 People Counting Sensor utilises advanced IR Breakbeam technology to accurately detect and count individuals through infrared beam interruption. Its design ensures consistent performance unaffected by variations in ambient temperature or changes in clothing colours, providing reliable adaptability across diverse settings.
The sensor is optimised for energy efficiency, reducing power consumption through precise adjustment of the node device’s current, which extends its battery life. As part of the Milesight D2D ecosystem, the VS360 ensures seamless interaction with other Milesight D2D agent devices, enhancing connectivity and operational efficiency.
Specifically engineered for environments prone to temperature fluctuations and where ceiling mounting is not feasible, this people counter is ideal for locations such as meeting room entrances, corridors, escalators, and pop-up stores. With user-friendly configuration and wireless detection capabilities, the VS360 allows for straightforward deployment and integration. It is compatible with the Milesight LoRaWAN® gateway and the Milesight Development Platform, enabling easy monitoring of foot traffic and activation of other sensors or devices as necessary.
The VS360 is designed as a LoRaWAN wireless IoT people counting sensor, transmitting foot traffic data through a LoRaWAN gateway to a cloud platform for remote monitoring, reporting, and trend analysis. In addition or alternatively to cloud connectivity, live count data can also be viewed directly on the built-in front display, while setup, diagnostics, and configuration can be quickly accessed via Near Field Communication (NFC) using the free Milesight Toolbox mobile app, giving users flexible local access to data without needing a gateway connection.
