The GS101 is a sophisticated LoRaWAN® residential gas detector, designed to provide an advanced solution for detecting natural gas leakage and promptly issuing warnings. When the concentration of gas surpasses the preset threshold due to a leak, the GS101 activates a dual alarm system – a visible LED light alarm and an audible buzzer sound alarm. In addition, it supports output controls to automatically shut off the gas valve and initiate ventilation fans.

Beyond its local alarm capabilities, the GS101 can also transmit both regular device status updates and alarm notifications remotely, thanks to its integration with LoRaWAN® technology. This feature allows for constant, real-time monitoring of the device’s performance.

The Milesight GS101 is a LoRaWAN® residential gas detector designed to provide comprehensive detection and alerting in various residential settings such as houses, apartments, and hotels. The gas detector features an ultra safe gas alarm threshold as low as 8% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL), ensuring rapid alerts. Additionally, it comes with a triple safety measure system that includes four LED alarm indicators for different statuses (powered, faulty, alarmed, and invalid), an 85dB buzzer alarm for audible warnings upon methane leakage detection, and the ability to send remote alerts via LoRaWAN® when gas leakage is detected.

Streamlining Indoor Comfort and Control – Event Trigger Features and Self-Test Functionality

The LoRaWAN® gas sensor provides advanced control over external appliances like gas valves and vent fans, courtesy of its relay output and solenoid valve output. *Note: The fan and valve can be operated simultaneously.
In addition to this, the device is equipped with a self-test function, ensuring its consistent and reliable operation. For added convenience, the buzzer alarm can be manually silenced, contributing to a more peaceful and comfortable home environment.
