Energy Efficiency with Smart Screen Mode

The AM102 features a Smart Screen Mode that is designed to conserve energy. This mode is activated when the latest monitored value is closely similar to the preceding one. This occurs when readings are within a certain range (temperature ≤ ±0.5°C, humidity ≤ ±3%, and CO2 ≤ ±50 ppm). Additionally, when this mode is enabled, the minimum refresh interval can be customised, ranging from 2 to 1080 minutes, further enhancing energy efficiency.

Ultra-Low Power Consumption in Hibernation Mode

Designed for periods of extended non-use, the Hibernation Mode significantly reduces power consumption. This mode uses less power than the Smart Screen Mode as it automatically suspends data collection. However, users have the flexibility to enable the LoRa uplink while in hibernation mode. In this scenario, the screen will continue to display the hibernation mode status, but this is solely to reduce screen power consumption.

Long-lasting Battery Life

The device incorporates two inbuilt 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCL2 replaceable batteries, providing an impressive battery life of up to 7 years for the AM102 models and up to 9 years for the AM102L models.
